ADMISSION POLICY AND PROCEDURES
Don Bosco Academy has a unique way of implementing its admission policy and procedures. The Guidance Office and the Registrar’s Office work hand in hand in the strict implementation of the recruitment policies in the admission of new students.
The institution’s admission policy is in line with the philosophy and objectives of the school. It is geared to be of service toward the integral fulfillment of an individual. Thus, it is primarily based on the individual’s capacity to achieve the objectives set by the school. The admission policy and its procedures are clearly stated and implemented by the Guidance and Registrar’s Office.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Clear Photocopy of:
NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
Roman Catholic Church
Baptismal Certificate
Current Report Card
Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Principal/Guidance Counselor or Adviser and Recommendation Letter for grade 9 to Grade 11 applicants. (not applicable for Kindergarten applicants)
Two 1x1 pictures
One Long brown envelope
Application and Processing Fee - P100.00
For Foreign applicants: Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)/Special Study Permit (SSP)
For Grade 11 applicants: NCAE result
NOTE:
***ONLY applicants with complete requirements will be entertained.
***The submitted documents/credentials filed in compliance with the application for admission requirements shall become the property of Don Bosco Academy and care not to be returned to the applicant.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Age qualification for Kindergarten learners should be five (5) years old by September 30 of every school year. Since the school starts its class on July.
Children who have completed DepEd-accredited programs are eligible for Grade 1. (DepEd Order 020, s. 2018)
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Present/Submit all the application for admission requirements to the Registrar’s Office.
Pay the application and testing fees to the Cashier.
Present the receipt to the Registrar’s Office and secure application form.
Submit filled-up application form.
After a thorough evaluation of the documents presented, the applicant is scheduled for an entrance examination.
The applicant takes the entrance examination; - Late comers are re-scheduled.
The Admission Committee bases final decision for admission on the scores of the admission test, interview and previous academic performance and conduct.
Results are released one week after the examination date.
Entrance Exam is waived due to the restriction of the IATF Protocols.
