ADMISSION POLICY AND PROCEDURES
Don Bosco Academy has a unique way of implementing its admission policy and procedures. The Guidance Office and the Registrar’s Office work hand in hand in the strict implementation of the recruitment policies in the admission of new students.
The institution’s admission policy is in line with the philosophy and objectives of the school. It is geared to be of service toward the integral fulfillment of an individual. Thus, it is primarily based on the individual’s capacity to achieve the objectives set by the school. The admission policy and its procedures are clearly stated and implemented by the Guidance and Registrar’s Office.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. One (1) clear photocopy of:
a. NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
b. Catholic Church Baptismal Certificate
c. Current Report Card
2. Certificate of Good Moral Character for Grade 1 to Grade 11 applicants
3. Two (2) 1x1 pictures
4. One (1) long brown envelope
5. Application and Processing Fee (Php 100)
6. Testing fee: Kinder-Grade 2 (Php 200); Grade 3-11 (Php 300)
Note:
• Grade 11 is also open to female applicants.
• The submitted documents/credentials filed in compliance with the application for admission requirements shall become the property of Don Bosco Academy and are not to be returned to the applicant.
• We strictly follow no processing of incomplete documents.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by the second month after the official start month of the school year.
Children who have completed DepEd-accredited programs are eligible for Grade 1. (DepEd Order 020, s. 2018).
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
STEP 1. Submit the complete set of admission requirements at the Registrar's Office.
STEP 2. Pay the application and testing fees at the Cashier's Office.
STEP 3. • Present the receipt to secure the application form from the Registrar's Office.
• Accomplish and submit the filled out form.
• Test and interview schedule will be communicated once admission requirements and application forms were checked and evaluated.
STEP 4. Take the entrance examination and attend the interview with the academic head.
STEP 5. Receive the admission procedure results.
STEP 6. Pay the reservation fee.
