TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTER

WHO ARE WE?

The Technical Vocational Education and Training Center in Don Bosco Academy is a Technical-Vocational Institution registered under TESDA. It primarily caters to the out-of-school youth of Mabalacat City and other neighboring towns of Pampanga and Tarlac. It has been established since 1983 when Don Bosco Academy was still in Bacolor, Pampanga.

This has been relocated in Mabalacat after the 1995 onslaught of lahar. In 2003, it has expanded its courses to cater to the specific training needs of its adjacent industries.

At present, DBA-TVET provides opportunities to the out-of-school-youth of urbanizing towns of Pampanga to gain decent employment. This is attained through its competency-based training distributed into 10 months of in-center basic employable skills and 5 months of supervised in-plant training. This guarantees the trainees a holistic formation in the moral, social and human values along with the technical skills they acquire. Thus, it provides the desired workforce in the fast- developing premier center of Economic and Freeport Zone of Central Luzon.
