As Don Bosco Academy proudly approaches its 70th Founding Anniversary, the Bosconian community is once again called to unite this time through music. DBA officially launched its Theme Song Writing Contest, inviting students, alumni, LAMPs, and parents to compose an original piece that embodies the anniversary theme, “Talatubud ning lugud, kasuywan, at pag-asa” (Ambassadors of Don Bosco’s love, service, and hope).
The contest seeks an original and unpublished composition, written in either English or Kapampangan, that captures the essence of being a true Bosconian. AI-generated works are strictly prohibited, ensuring that each entry reflects authentic creativity and heartfelt inspiration. The winning piece will be crowned as the official theme song of DBA’s 70th anniversary and will continue to echo through future celebrations until the 75th year of the institution.
Alongside this, DBA also launched a School Chant-Making Contest, encouraging Bosconians to craft short, powerful chants that represent the same values of unity and faith. Each performance will be judged based on creativity, Bosconian spirit, clarity, and crowd engagement, turning words into anthems of school pride and energy.
Through these competitions, Don Bosco Academy continues its mission to form not just talented individuals, but passionate and value-driven Bosconians. As the celebration draws near, excitement builds, and soon, the halls of DBA will once again resonate with melodies of love, service, and hope that truly define the Bosconian way.
