Don Bosco Academy successfully celebrated its 64th Founding Anniversary with its conclusion last February 2, 2020. The day started with a family mass wherein Salesian Educators were the servers for the mass. In this mass, The Rector of DBA, Father Jose Armando G. Cortez, SDB, emphasized the meaning and significance of the word ‘Family” and what it meant to all the students of DBA.

Before the mass ended, there was recognition of Educators who dedicated years of their lives to the institution. Lay Mission Partners (LaMPs) who have dedicated their lives educating and evangelizing Bosconians for 10 to more than 30 years were recognized. After the Mass, students went on break for them to enjoy the food and game booths of each section, as well as the rides that were still open, to their hearts’ content .

After the break, students were advised to return to the gym for the awaited Bingo social. There were handful rounds of Bingo games where winners won cash up to 20,000 pesos. The day ended with the reminders and blessing of the Father of the House, our Rector, Fr. Jose Armando G. Cortez, SDB.
