Don Bosco Academy Celebrates Its 69th Founding Anniversary: “DULAP 2025 – Pamaminu”
Mabalacat City, Pampanga, Don Bosco Academy joyfully celebrated its 69th Founding Anniversary with the theme “DULAP 2025: Pamaminu – Palabungan ing Kasalpantayanan, Kasuywan, Kabiasnan”, a heartfelt reflection of the institution’s mission to nurture faith, service, and culture within the Bosconian community.
The celebration, which spanned several days, brought together students, educators, alumni, and Salesian partners in a vibrant display of unity and gratitude. The theme, “Pamaminu”, meaning remembrance, encouraged the Bosconian family to look back on the school’s journey of almost seven decades—honoring its legacy while embracing the call to continue Don Bosco’s mission in the modern world.
Throughout the week, a series of activities embodied the three pillars of the celebration. Under Kasalpantayanan (Faith), students and staff took part in liturgical celebrations, reflections, and community prayers that deepened their spiritual connection. The Kasuywan (Service) component inspired acts of generosity and outreach programs, highlighting the school’s commitment to forming compassionate leaders. Meanwhile, Kabiasnan (Culture) was celebrated through performances, exhibitions, and competitions that showcased the rich Kapampangan identity and Bosconian creativity.
A highlight of the anniversary was the grand community gathering, where students and faculty united in thanksgiving and fellowship. The event served as both a tribute to Don Bosco’s enduring legacy and a reminder of the institution’s mission to form “good Christians and upright citizens.”
As Don Bosco Academy marks 69 years of educational excellence and 29 years of presence in Mabalacat, the DULAP 2025 celebration stands as a powerful testament to the school’s enduring spirit — one that continues to shine through faith, service, and culture.
“Pamaminu” is not only a remembrance of the past but a reaffirmation of the Bosconian identity: steadfast in faith, committed in service, and proud in culture.
